Residential Rehabilitation
The Residential Rehabilitation Program provides financial assistance to eligible low- and moderate-income owner-occupied homeowners for housing repairs.

Assist eligible homeowners in maintaining the city's existing housing stock through home rehabilitation.
Includes the following:
Preserve decent, safe, and sanitary housing.
Correct hazardous structural conditions.
Eliminate blight and meet ADA access.
Address building and health code violations.

Grants of $11,000 for mobile home owners.
Grants of $18,000 for single-family detached dwellings.
Deferred loans of $25,000 at 0% interest for single-family detached dwellings.

Owner-occupied homeowners of single-family detached dwellings, including mobile homes.

Heating/cooling system
Termite/rodent elimination (eligible if combined with other rehab work)

Commerical Rehabilitation
The City of Bell Commercial Rehabilitation Program aims to enhance the appearance and functionality of commercial properties within the city. The program provides financial assistance to business and property owners for exterior improvements, ensuring compliance with city standards and fostering a vibrant commercial environment.

To qualify for the City of Bell Commercial Rehabilitation Program, the property must be within city limits and the target area, and free from existing code violations unless addressed by the rehab project.

Eligible properties include commercial (retail and wholesale) and service establishments such as:
Professional services (e.g., accountants, doctors, architects).
Personal services (e.g., barbers, hair salons, dry cleaners).
Neighborhood services (e.g., non-franchise restaurants, convenience stores, bakeries).
Repair services (e.g., office equipment repair, plumbers).
Business services (e.g., advertising, printing).
